Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
- Collection and disbursement transactions with suppliers and customers in accounts payable and receivables
- Use Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and controls that will prevent or reduce risk of potential misstatements
- Collect and analyze accounting data for accurate entries and internal/external reporting
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX), internal controls, and company and departmental procedures
- Reconcile assigned general ledger accounts
- Assist with internal and external audit requests
- Prepare supporting schedules for assigned areas for monthly financial review
- Manage assigned projects to deadlines
- Work under deadlines and assist with resolving accounting challenges
- Collaborate and grow in a team environment and be willing to learn and be coached by experienced accountants
- Learn and apply knowledge and training in SAP and FCCS
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
- 6-9 years experience with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
- Positive and proactive attitude along with strong organizational skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well independently and in a team environment
- Proficiency in Excel required
Preferred Qualifications:
- SAP experience
- Payroll experience
- Fixed asset experience
