About the Role: Shape the Voice Behind the Wings
PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a Communications Content Coordinator (Contract) to support our dynamic Communications team in Herndon, VA. In this pivotal role, youll bring stories to life and connect employees across North America through engaging, brand-aligned content. Reporting to the Head of Content, you’ll help drive internal engagement and pride in the company’s mission—playing a critical role in how our people experience our brand every day. While this position is hybrid (40 remote), it does require someone to be local to Herndon, VA. Please do not apply if you do not plan to relocate to Herndon, VA at your own expense.
What You’ll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Internal & External Communications (30)
Create, edit, and publish internal content including newsletters, intranet updates, digital signage, and stakeholder communications.
Support multimedia projects such as videos and presentations for internal and external audiences.
Monitor engagement metrics to optimize strategy and content performance.
Graphic Design & Visual Content (30)
Execute photography and graphic design projects using Adobe Creative Suite.
Manage visual storytelling to ensure brand consistency across materials.
Coordinate with vendors and agencies for high-impact creative output.
Stakeholder Management & Events (40)
Collaborate across departments to gather insights and craft consistent messaging.
Support employee engagement through visuals, event communications, and milestone campaigns.
Assist with press reviews, logo approvals, and public-facing assets.
What You’ll Bring: Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in internal/corporate communications.
Strong writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills.
Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite and content management systems.
Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
Ability to travel 10–15 domestically and internationally.
Preferred:
4+ years of experience in communications, especially in large or international organizations.
Certifications or coursework in graphic design or digital communications.
Familiarity with brand identity systems and metrics-driven content development.

This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). Pay Details: $28.00 to $34.00 per hour
