At PDS Tech Commercial, we’re looking for a Cabin Design Engineer to elevate our aircraft interior systems to new heights. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the in-flight experience of passengers around the world by engineering cabin modules for the A350, A320, and A330 aircraft. Your MissionAs a Cabin Design Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of aircraft customization and development, crafting solutions to complex engineering challenges with precision and creativity. Your work ensures safe, compliant, and innovative cabin environments that meet both airline and passenger expectations.
What You’ll Be DoingLead cabin module customization efforts for A350, A320, and A330 aircraft.
Develop product design documentation, define cabin installation drawings, and validate structural/system interfaces.
Oversee supplier coordination and performance improvements, ensuring compliance with engineering and certification requirements.
Prepare and drive key milestone meetings (ITCM, PDR, CDR) with airline customers and internal teams.
Analyze change requests and evaluate impact based on design, manufacturing, or customer needs.
Ensure full certification of cabin components and manage delivery of qualification and testing data.
Support continued airworthiness evaluations and implement necessary updates.
Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
6+ years in the aviation industry, with 3+ years specifically in aircraft cabin design and development.
Deep knowledge of cabin engineering standards, certification, and qualification processes.
Proficient in technical documentation and engineering drawings.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Authorized to work in the U.S.
Preferred QualificationsExperience leading supplier coordination and performance initiatives.
Familiarity with GRESS and design-to-certification workflows.
Proficiency with CAD and aerospace-specific design tools.

Pay Details: $58.00 per hour
