Role Introduction
Reports To: Strategic Employee Engagement Manager
A creative thinker and delivery focused, you will work with the Strategic Employee Engagement Manager to develop and execute engagement strategies, campaigns and events to elevate the employee experience and drive engagement across our varied employee groups in our home base, Hong Kong, and globally. Your key focus will involve contributing to the strategic development of engagement plans and initiatives, leading and executing projects, and working collaboratively with the team and others to deliver outcomes aimed at shaping a positive work environment in support of our business goals to in turn, influence customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with the Strategic Employee Engagement Manager to develop company-wide engagement strategies and our yearly calendar of activities to elevate the employee experience, instil positivity and keep our employees engaged with the company
- Contribute to the strategic direction and planning of engagement campaigns and events to connect our employees with the company’s purpose, vision, values and strategy
- Lead the implementation of engagement activities and with departments and regional team to enable the team to deliver high-quality and engaging experiences for our varied employee groups in Hong Kong and the regions; manage ad hoc initiatives where needed
- Bring in own expertise to deliver engaging programs and events alongside the team, contributing to a dynamic calendar of recurring activities, and foster a team mindset by actively contributing to team projects and offering guidance and support to colleagues
- Partner and collaborate with departments and regional teams to deliver engagement initiatives and provide support where needed
- Support content creation to promote engagement activities and facilitate communication with stakeholders and participants
- Identify opportunities, tools and solutions to improve the quality and delivery of engagement campaigns and events
- Build collaborative relationships with the broader team and regional/department counterparts, manage external vendor relationships, and foster a team mindset by actively contributing to team projects and offering guidance and support to colleagues
- Stay on top of the latest creative campaigns, trends, technologies and innovations in the employee engagement and experience space
- Act as a role model by demonstrating professional behaviors and best practices, supporting the development and growth of junior team members
Requirements
- Degree holder with a minimum of 5 years in communications, employee engagement or event roles
- Experience developing and executing employee engagement strategies, campaigns and events
- Strong planning, project management and communication skills
- Knowledge of trends, tools and techniques that drive employee engagement and deliver great employee experiences
- Ability to stay agile, think strategically and creatively in a fast-paced environment, with a customer-focused mindset
- Ability to build professional working relationships at all levels and manage multiple stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail and an ability to manage multiple deadlines and competing demands
- Proactive, high drive and positive energy and able to work under pressure
- Action oriented and self-motivated
- Excellent command of written and spoken English; Cantonese advantageous
