Role Introduction
Full Title: Engineering Transform and Digital Manager (Fixed-term contract until 30 Sep 2028)
Reports to: Head of Transform Projects

Engineering’s ambition is to be one of the world’s highest performing, customer centric and progressive engineering teams and the role of the Digital Transform and Systems Manager is to be accountable for delivering the digital transformation and IT needed and supporting the Engineering systems that will enable the various Engineering Sections to deliver industry leading performance in support of the airline vision to become one of the world’s greatest service brands by developing strategies and implementing the necessary plans.
The Digital Transform and Systems team, led by the Manager, is required to develop internal digital solutions and collaborate with the Corporate Digital team and selected partners to create digital and technology strategies and solutions that enhance Engineering processes and decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
The ENG Digital Transform and Systems Manager is accountable for leading Digital projects, working with the IT department and relevant Engineering business units to deliver IT and digital enhancements driving continous improvements in operational excellence, in areas of safety, automation, cost management, process efficiencies and digital transformation
Responsible for leading a team to:
- Maintain a holistic view on the opportunities for enhancement of Engineering IT systems
- Maintain the Future ENG Business Intelligence Roadmap, and deliver insights and analytics to relevant business problems
- Provide Engineering Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge and best practice on Engineering data and analytics tools
- Expand ENG digital capability and grow Engineering Digital community
- Work with corporate DGT to build and manage an Engineering data model that supports Engineering needs
- Deliver and support major IT projects and implementing IT enhancements
- Deliver successful change management into the Engineering business units
- Contiribute to the formulation the company and Engineering digitalisation objectives
- Managing the system adminstration functions of key ENG IT systems
- Setting direction and leading and developing the team, and keeping abreast of industry development
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering/ Aerospace/ IT Analytics discipline or a proven data analysis role
- Typically, 10 years of related experience in aircraft maintenance, engineering and/or data analytics
- Proven experience in supervising and managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong leadership skills. Proven ability to manage across departments; OEMs; lessors and suppliers
- Strong in communication, influencing and negotiation skills
- Strong drive for excellence
- Adaptable and responsive to change. Demonstrate ability to drive change
- Proven ability to drive and manage multi-skilled teams
