This opportunity, based at our Prestwick site offers:
- 37 hour working week (half day Friday)
- Shift premiums up to 33, where applicable
- Overtime at time and a half, where applicable

Responsibilities
Your placement will be within the Research and Technology group where you will spend time working with all our various teams to develop skills in a range of cutting-edge technology areas, including composite manufacture, automation and robotics, digital toolsets and materials testing. This will allow you to gain a broad insight into the business and the differing skillsets needed to develop cutting edge technologies for the aerospace industry, and explore where your interests lie before you consider your future focus with us.
The quality of our people is extremely important to us and, ideally, applicants should have a strong academic background coupled with excellent interpersonal skills in communication and teamwork with lots of commitment, self-discipline, and motivation.
Qualifications
Candidate Requirements:
Applicants are responsible for ensuring that sufficient detail is provided on their application to demonstrate how they meet the appropriate job criteria, as this alone will be used for vetting purposes.
- Successful candidates will have an honours degree (minimum 2.2) in a relevant subject (e.g. Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Product-Design Engineering, Data Analytics, Computing Science, Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics Engineering, Advanced Composites and Polymers, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering, Manufacturing technology etc.)
Desirable Criteria:
- A 2.1, 1st class honours degree or Masters will be considered during the shortlisting for this role.
