Role Title: Level 2 Systems Engineer
Role Description:
The successful candidate will be responsible for (within approved engineering delegation):
• review & approval of engineering artefacts
• engineering change proposals
• Technical Information Reviews (TIR)
• response to RFIs and Engineering Advice Requests (EARs)
• technical investigations
• deviations, modifications & STIs
• updates to technical publications, including the IETM & AAPs
• transition of UAS materiel from acquisition to sustainment
• configuration management of UAS platforms
• safety aspects of materiel systems are considered & incorporated into activities
• liaison with LOG staff ISO engineering tasks
• project management activities, including modifications & trials
• provision of subject matter expertise advice
• stakeholder engagement
• deliverable reviews
• inputs into EMS development & updates, including continuous improvement activities
• engineering performance metrics & weekly/monthly reporting
• QMS activities
Essential Requirements:
• Bachelor of Engineering (or equivalent level of experience/training)
• Two years of post-graduate experience
Desirable Requirements:
• Aviation experience
• Experience with UAS
• Experience with Defence Aviation Safety Regulations
• Experience with Civil Aviation Safety Regulations
• Formal System Safety training
Required Security Clearance Level: NV1
Location: Brisbane
Weekly Hours: 80 hour fortnight
