Digital Machining Solutions team standardizes, delivers and maintains lean digital manufacturing tools and services for GE Aerospace sites utilizing state-of-the-art technologies to increase capacity and quality, to avoid cost and to achieve on-time delivery. Roles & Responsibilities:
Debug the new CNC digital kits (CNC post-processor, CNC simulation and on-machine probing macros)
Work with end-users on in-house developed MBM tools
Serve as a Point of Contact to the end-users
Gather feedback from stakeholders and work with development team to deliver more efficient solutions
Work in a highly collaborative global team environment
Approximately 25 travel
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university (or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years NX CAM Programing) plus minimum of 5 years component machining experience
Hands-on experience in complex component machining
Part program debugging in CNC shop floor
Desired Experience:
Minimum 10 years of experience in NX CAM programming (turning, milling, multi-task etc.)
Being familiar with GE Aerospace in-house developed CNC digital kits
Experience with on-machine probing macros
Experience in Siemens Teamcenter Product Lifecycle Management (PLM)
