Contract Position
Pay Estimated: $62.58-$67.58/Hour

Contribute to a company at the forefront of mission-critical systems and technologies in defense and security. This leader in global defense integrates advanced technology to deliver information and insights on the battlefield, offering roles that support security and technological superiority across multiple domains.
Responsibilities:
- Program Execution & EVM
Own the EVM process, serving as Control Account Manager (CAM) for various IPTs or engineering disciplines.
Monitor and manage detailed project metrics to track progress, budget, and resource utilization.
Integrate risk mitigation tasks and opportunities into the IMS and track accordingly.
Create and execute long- and short-term plans, ensuring alignment with program milestones and earned value expectations.
Cross-Functional Coordination Collaborate with IPT leads to monitor the status of cross-functional handovers.
Interface regularly with DPME, IPT leads, and technical stakeholders to ensure upstream and downstream dependencies are understood and addressed.
Coordinate between engineering, supply chain, manufacturing, and quality teams to ensure program alignment and resource availability.
Material & Supply Chain Interface Initiate and track material procurements.
Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to ensure build schedules are supported.
Provide real-time visibility into procurement and escalate issues when necessary.
Proposal & Planning Activities Participate in new proposal development and background research.
Establish domain and technical context to support transition from proposal to execution.
Consolidate Bill of Materials (BOM) and resource requirements with input from technical leads.
Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required by Federal Law
Minimum of 8+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, or related field; or 6+ years with a Master’s degree.
Demonstrated experience in Earned Value Management (EVM).
Expertise in MS Project or equivalent project scheduling software.
Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical systems and their role in systems engineering.
Working knowledge of inventory control, material procurement, and vendor interfacing.
Agile experience is preferred.
