Position Description:
Title: Programs Research Intern
Summary: As the Programs Research Intern, you will gain hands on experience in the Aviation and Supply Chain Industries. This position will be an 8 week paid internship under the Programs team at Jet Midwest Inc located in Kansas City, MO.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities included, but not limited to:
- Research aircraft parts, manufacturers, and approved suppliers
- Gather and organize information on pricing, availability, and certifications
- Help maintain spreadsheets and internal databases with accurate data
- Assist with basic spanet and competitor research
- Prepare simple summaries and reports for team members
- Support ongoing research tasks as assigned
Education & Experience:
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree (aviation, engineering, business, supply chain, or related field)
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Basic computer skills (Excel, Google, online research)
- Ability to follow processes and verify information
- Interest in aviation or aerospace
- Preferred introductory coursework or exposure to aviation concepts
- Preferred familiarity with basic aviation terminology
