Locate and Purchase of Parts:
- Locate and purchase parts through approved vendors as requested by DOM.
- Using current inventory software, create accurate Purchase Orders.
Shipping & Receiving:
- Responsible for timely and accurate processing of incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Inspect shipments for accuracy and condition, and report any discrepancies or damages.
- Prepare and package products for shipment ensuring all purchase orders/core orders are fulfilled correctly.
Stock Organization & Inventory Management:
- Organize and maintain inventory in an orderly and accessible manner utilizing the computer system for receipts, transfers, returns, cycle counts and other inventory management tasks.
- Conduct regular stock counts and inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Stock consumable and parts on warehouse shelving and arrange parts into kits and maintain preset levels.
Warehouse Operations:
- Coordinate with the Director of Maintenance ensuring an adequate supply of spare parts are maintained in the inventory to support the maintenance of our company aircraft.
- Continuous searching for part sources to improve costs through the addition of distributors, OEM's, surplus/used parts market and other aviation related parts businesses.
- Purchasing of parts using a PO system, verifying parts and shipping costs, and following up on delivery dates.
- Responsible for daily operations of Parts Room including receiving incoming deliveries, inspecting those delivered parts, and ensuring part numbers match with 8130's and C&C's accompanying the parts.
- Maintain calibration of test equipment and consumables that are used by maintenance technicians.
- Maintain a clean parts room for easy access to parts.
- Maintain a clean, safe, work environment for mechanics, including using an industrial floor mop.
Required Education and Experience:
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Basic data entry skills.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as P.O.s, safety rules, operation and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to maintain telephone etiquette.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratios and percentages.
- Ability to read and write and understand English.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Current Valid Driver's License
- 1 year previous experience in inventory control, purchasing or warehouse logistics preferred.
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Must be authorize to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
- Working in hangar/stockroom, subjected to noises due to proximity of airport runways, from use of pneumatic tools.
- Regularly lift and/or move items weighing over 50 lbs.
- Required to be standing, walking, sitting with the ability to kneel or squat.
- Ability to climb a ladder and stairs.

- Tool Proficiency: Knowledge of basic mechanical tools is preferred.
