Job Title: Parts Technician
Job Description
We are seeking an Aviation Parts Specialist who will be responsible for warehousing operations, including the storage, security, and accountability of aircraft parts and materials. This is a 6-month contract to hire position.
Responsibilities
- Manage warehousing operations for aircraft parts and materials.
- Coordinate the movement of repairable materials to and from repair vendors and company shops.
- Perform shipping and receiving functions, ensuring timely and accurate receipt of inbound purchases and repairs.
- Report any shipping or receiving problems to supervision.
- Maintain accurate computerized inventory and handle vendor discrepancy resolutions.
- Ensure company inventory and materials are properly accounted for and stored per industry standards.
- Perform parts buying and ordering for quoting purposes to work orders as requested by production departments.
- Maintain and order consumable inventory for all production departments.
- Ensure regulatory compliance with the shipping, receiving, and storing of hazardous materials.
- Conduct monthly and quarterly inventory cycle counts.

Work Environment
Work in a clean aircraft hangar environment, formerly our clients hangars. The position is full-time, Monday through Friday, from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with approximately 10 overtime. The work environment is sensitive due to the proximity to airport runways, which may subject employees to noise
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Vandalia, OH.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $23.00 - $25.00/hr.
