What You Will Do:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team in Wichita Falls as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading all materials and parts that go in and out of the plant. You will generate the required documentation of all items that go in and out while maintaining a safe and clean work environment. To succeed in this role, you will be highly dependable and pay great attention to detail. This position will work from Monday-Friday from 9am-5pm. There will also be occasional Overtime on Saturdays each month with shared responsibility among the department.
Key Responsibilities:
Load and unload all materials and parts as necessary
Accurately verify paperwork and container contents with actual part numbers and serial numbers received and annotate/correct discrepancies as they arise
Accurately input the information into the various computer systems used
Generate the required documentation to maintain accountability of all items accepted or rejected from, or shipped to suppliers
Package parts and materials in accordance with established procedures to ensure safe transportation
Track parts going out of plant for work
Correct problems that may occur with shipments or with receiving in parts and materials.
Maintain existing shipping and receiving files and logs
Maintain the staging area, accounting for all out-plant, scraps, and completed components
Maintain inventory and order all supplies for the shipping and receiving Department
Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
Demonstrate a continuous effort to improve operations, decrease turnaround times, streamline work processes, and work cooperatively and jointly to provide quality customer service
Ensure all environment, health, and safety rules, requirements and procedures are adhered to
Accept, verify, and distribute incoming shipments and generate required documents.
Identify and package all parts and materials and generate required documents for shipment to customers and/or suppliers.
Ability to work in a team environment, be self-motivated, to interact politely and professionally, and to work cooperatively with employees at all levels
