🔧 Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Tool Room Attendant to support our aviation maintenance operations. This role is responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining tools and equipment used by aviation maintenance technicians, ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in maintaining tool accountability and supporting efficient aircraft maintenance operations.
🛠️ Key Responsibilities- Issue, receive, and track tools and equipment used by maintenance personnel
- Maintain accurate inventory records using manual logs or computerized systems
- Inspect tools for damage, wear, or calibration requirements before and after use
- Ensure all tools meet aviation safety and regulatory requirements (FAA, company policies, etc.)
- Conduct routine audits and inventory counts of tool room stock
- Clean, organize, and maintain the tool room in a safe and orderly condition
- Coordinate repair or replacement of damaged or missing tools
- Monitor calibration schedules and ensure tools remain compliant
- Assist technicians in locating specialized tools and equipment
- Report discrepancies, tool losses, or safety concerns promptly
✅ QualificationsRequired:- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic knowledge of tools and mechanical equipment
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills
- Ability to use inventory management systems or willingness to learn
- Good communication and teamwork skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Crestview, FL.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
