Job Title: A&P Mechanic Job Description
As an Aircraft Technician, you will perform line and heavy maintenance tasks, including C & D checks and calendar checks, specifically for Cessna Caravan aircraft. Your duties will encompass working on flight controls, tearing out and reinstalling interior components, executing corrosion control, removing and replacing landing gear, conducting minor electrical work, removing and replacing engines, and performing minor structural repairs. This role primarily involves working independently.
Responsibilities
- Perform line and heavy maintenance tasks, including C & D checks and calendar checks on Cessna Caravan aircraft.
- Work on flight controls and tear out and reinstall interior components.
- Execute corrosion control and remove and replace landing gear.
- Conduct minor electrical work and perform minor structural repairs.
- Remove and replace engines and work independently.
Essential Skills- Possession of an A&P License.
- Experience in aircraft maintenance, ideally with Turbo Prop and Cessna Caravan.
- Capability to work with minimal supervision.
Position Requirements- Valid FAA A&P License.
- 6 - 12+ months of aviation maintenance experience
- Must have your own tools

Work Environment
You will work in a small hangar located at Dothan Airport. The schedule includes two shifts: 1st Shift, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and 2nd Shift, Monday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. Flexibility for overtime may be required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dothan, Alabama.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
