Summary of the Role: Are you passionate about aviation and skilled in aircraft maintenance? PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a dedicated A&P Mechanic to ensure our fleet meets the highest standards of safety and performance. In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting aircraft airframes and engines, ensuring compliance with FAA regulations.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft airframes and engines.
Ensure aircraft conformance with FAA regulations.
Identify and troubleshoot malfunctioning parts.
Recommend part changes or adjustments to improve engine performance.
Document and maintain maintenance paperwork according to regulations.
Perform a variety of tasks under general supervision.
Utilize creativity and judgment to accomplish goals.
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Airplane mechanics license.
0-2 years of experience in the field or a related area.
Familiarity with standard concepts, practices, and procedures in aircraft maintenance.
Ability to lift over 30 lbs and handle significant repetitions of this or lesser weights.
Willingness to work in environments with substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical risks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Additional certifications or training in aircraft maintenance.
Experience with specific aircraft models or systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Pay Details: $20.50 per hour
