Aircraft Maintenance Technician
Job Description:

Trade traffic for trailheads, crowded cities for mountain views, and long commutes for a lifestyle people travel across the world to experience. Located beneath the Tetons and just minutes from Grand Targhee Resort, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park, the Snake River, and Grand Teton National Park, Driggs, Idaho offers year-round adventure right outside your door. From skiing and snowmobiling in the winter to hiking, fishing, biking, and fly fishing in the summer, this is a place where work and lifestyle genuinely coexist.

And honestly, living in what we believe is the greatest place in the world only matters if you actually have time to enjoy it (we’re a little biased). That’s why we’ve built a company culture focused on balance — including a best-in-class PTO policy, limited forced overtime, employee housing assistance, and competitive compensation and benefits packages. We’re committed to making sure our team has the opportunity to enjoy the community they help support every day.

Technical Excellence. Precision. Teamwork.

At Teton Aviation, safety and reliability on the ground are just as important as performance in the air. We’re looking for a licensed Aircraft Mechanic who takes pride in their work, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality.

As part of our team, you’ll play a key role in growing and establishing our maintenance department as a premier destination for aircraft maintenance and avionics alterations while working alongside a passionate and skilled aviation team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Performing a variety of aircraft maintenance tasks on corporate jets
  • Working closely with Management to determine man-hour requirements and keeping customers up to date on the status of their aircraft.
  • Managing multiple moving pieces while keeping calm under pressure
  • Helping maintain a safe, organized, and secure environment throughout the facility
  • Supporting daily operations at our base location with occasional travel to support our customers’ needs away from base

What Makes Someone Successful in This Role

  • You’re naturally personable and value working in a customer service role
  • You can multitask without getting overwhelmed
  • You communicate clearly and confidently
  • You pay attention to details and follow through
  • You enjoy working as part of a team
  • You’re adaptable — because aviation changes by the minute
  • You’re comfortable learning new systems and processes

What We’re Looking For

  • Airframe and Powerplant license (A&P) required
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Ability to participate in drug and/or alcohol testing per the DOT/FAA requirements (pre-employment, random, reasonable cause/suspicion, post-accident)
  • Comfortable with computers and basic office systems
  • Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and occasional overtime
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions when needed
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience maintaining fixed-wing aircraft, with Cessna Citation experience strongly preferred
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the position
  • A thorough understanding of FAA regulations, including 14 CFR 145 requirements

Why You’ll Love Working Here

  • Company-Paid Health Insurance for Employee
  • Dental & Vision Coverage
  • Simple IRA with Company Match
  • Short & Long-Term Disability Protection
  • Life Insurance
  • Paid Time Off to Recharge and Relax

If you’re passionate about aviation, take pride in quality workmanship, and enjoy that no two days in maintenance are ever the same; we’d love to meet you.
