Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job DescriptionPerform a variety of mechanical duties on Embraer Corporate Aircraft, such as Praetor models. Responsibilities include diagnosing malfunctions, disassembling, repairing, and adjusting various aircraft systems to prepare them for flight and delivery.
Responsibilities
- Perform intermediate and heavy maintenance tasks without supervision.
- Conduct airframe, powerplant, and propeller repairs and modifications to meet company and FAA requirements.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting on airframe structures, engines, and aircraft systems.
- Troubleshoot, inspect, repair, and conduct engine run-ups on turbine engines.
- Conduct airframe system and component changes and systems checkouts.
- Install service bulletins and kits on airframes and engines.
- Comprehend and complete all Aircraft Manufacturer Scheduled Maintenance items.
- Remove and disassemble defective parts, assemble and install replacement parts, and test aircraft systems.
- Interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
- Sign for work accomplished, including troubleshooting deferred maintenance items, and ensure proper recording of all maintenance tasks on company documents.
- Build customer invoices using labor calculations, purchase orders, and parts mark-up calculations.
- Use equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and a variety of hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.
- Maintain a constant watch for safety and ensure work performed adheres to the highest quality standards.
- Monitor to reduce excessive labor duplication costs.
- Ensure proper and adequate equipment is used, acceptable parts or components are installed, and approved hardware or supplies are used.
Essential Skills- Experience in aircraft maintenance, specifically with Embraer Corporate Aircraft, Praetor, and the person models.
- A&P License preferred.
- Experience with Corporate Jets, Praetor, and the person models.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, drawings, and blueprints.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- A&P License is preferred.
- Must have 1+ years of recent or 2 years of experience with Embraer Corporate Jets.

Work Environment
Work primarily in the hangar at Music City Airport. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 7 AM to 4:30 PM, with some on-call or evening/weekend hours as required.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Gallatin, Tennessee.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $43.00/hr.
