Morson Edge are recruiting for an Aircraft Ground Equipment Technician to support Tornado operations in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.

This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile defence programme supporting fast jet operations in an operational environment overseas.

You will carry out scheduled and unscheduled maintenance of Aircraft Ground Equipment (AGE), ensuring all activities are conducted in accordance with regulatory frameworks, safety standards and quality management systems.

• Perform engineering and maintenance tasks within the AGE workshop

• Ensure all maintenance is carried out in line with approved procedures and safety standards

• Utilise electronic data systems for maintenance tracking and reporting

• Maintain workshop tools and ensure calibration schedules are adhered to

• Support the Supervisor in maintaining AGE serviceability and operational readiness

• Implement FOD control and high housekeeping standards

• Provide training and mentoring support to personnel as required

• Provide standby cover in support of squadron operations

• ONC qualification or equivalent in Electrical Engineering (or significant relevant experience)

• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, PLC maintenance and fault finding

• Multi-skilled background with hydraulic and pneumatic systems experience

• Aerospace or defence industry experience

• Familiarity with military engineering procedures

• Previous Tornado AGE or plant maintenance experience
