Job Title: Aircraft Teardown Technician
**This position is in Wilmington, OH**
Description
- This role focuses on the mechanical disassembly of decommissioned cargo aircraft to safely remove, inspect, and preserve reusable components for storage and resale. You will work hands-on with large aircraft structures and systems, applying strong mechanical aptitude and tool skills in an outdoor airport environment on a long-term project expected to run through July 2025, with the possibility of additional aircraft being added.
- Disassemble decommissioned cargo aircraft in a safe, methodical, and efficient manner.
- Identify, locate, and access aircraft components targeted for removal and reuse.
- Mechanically remove aircraft components using appropriate hand tools and equipment.
- Inspect removed components for visible damage, wear, and suitability for reuse.
- Label, organize, and prepare salvaged parts for storage and future sale.
- Apply mechanical knowledge from aviation, automotive, or farm machinery to tasks such as engine removals and brake or axle-related work.
Shift
- Mon - Fri 7 AM start time.
- Right now they are working until 7PM regularly so OT is available

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
