We are seeking a skilled Metal Mechanic with a comprehensive understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience with aircraft and aircraft systems, and a strong ability to read and understand blueprints, aircraft drawings, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals.

• Build and/or repair sheet metal structures according to aircraft maintenance manuals or blueprints.
• Build and/or repair composite structures.
• Assist with the disassembly and reassembly of aircraft panels.
• Install kits and build items per drawings and manuals.
• Repair aircraft parts using sheet metal or composite materials.
• Inspect items for serviceability.
• Assist other departments as required.
• Participate in road trips as necessary.
• Ensure all tags are properly filled out and attached to respective parts.
• Work on Bell helicopters and Airbus models.

• Complete understanding of maintenance procedures and requirements.
• Working knowledge of aircraft and aircraft systems.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, aircraft drawings, maintenance manuals, and installation manuals.
• Experience in building and repairing sheet metal and composite structures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3-5 years of sheet metal experience is a plus.
• Composite experience is a plus.
• Attention to detail and reliability are essential.

You will be working in a large hangar environment alongside 45 employees, servicing and upgrading helicopters, including installing Air Medical, Law Enforcement, and VIP/Corporate kits, components, and avionics packages.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Pleasant, PA.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
