PDS Tech Commercial is partnering with a leader in the electronics manufacturing industry to hire a skilled and detail-oriented Incoming Inspector. In this role, you will be a critical part of the quality assurance process—ensuring that raw materials and finished products meet strict industry and customer standards. Your work directly safeguards product integrity and supports operational excellence.
What You’ll Do
As an Incoming Inspector, you will play a hands-on role in maintaining quality across the production lifecycle:
Perform inspections on incoming raw materials, in-process items, and finished products using IQA and in-process tools and equipment
Verify product acceptability against industry standards and customer requirements
Accurately record inspection results in the manufacturing data collection system
Identify, separate, and return non-conforming materials to the appropriate personnel
Monitor product quality issues and escalate concerns to the Quality Team Leader
Support document control activities, including reviewing and correcting uploaded files and maintaining hardcopy documentation
Assist with quality records and system updates as needed
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, following 5S practices
Perform additional tasks as assigned to support quality and compliance efforts
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications:
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience
4–6 years of relevant inspection or manufacturing experience
Basic computer skills and ability to accurately input data
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Basic English reading and writing ability
Knowledge of sampling plan procedures (AQL)
Experience using inspection tools such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and multimeters
Understanding of electronic and mechanical component characteristics
Ability to maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with internal teams
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with IPC-A-610 standards, workmanship, and cosmetic specifications
Experience with document control systems and manufacturing data systems
Certification(s) as defined by site operations
Basic understanding of manufacturing systems and processes
Ability to support audits and quality system activities

Pay Details: $19.00 to $21.00 per hour
