Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician
Job Description
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for the daily maintenance and repair of airport building facilities, including elevators, conveyor systems, mechanical systems, lighting systems, communication systems, HVAC units, fire systems, plumbing systems, and more. The role may involve working with PLC electronic systems, computer controls, and steel frame structures.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and repair elevators, conveyor systems, and mechanical systems.
- Handle lighting systems, communication/radio systems, HVAC units, and fire systems.
- Perform plumbing repairs and maintenance.
- Work with PLC electronic systems, computer controls, and steel frame structures.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and repair of building facilities.
- Perform electrical troubleshooting and maintenance of AC & DC circuits, high voltage (480), and high amperage equipment.
- Read and follow wiring schematics.
- Make low and high voltage repairs to building electrical equipment.
- Install and repair electrical circuitry and devices.
- Work around the clock shifts, including weekends and holidays, in all weather conditions.
Essential Skills
- Thorough knowledge of general building maintenance with an emphasis on electrical solving, including AC & DC circuits.
- Experience in industrial wiring and ability to read and follow wiring schematics.
- Ability to work without supervision.
- Knowledge of installation and repair of 110/220/480 volt single and multiphase electrical circuitry and devices.
- Experience in related building equipment and trades such as air handling units, plumbing, steam fitting, fire systems, and conveyors.
- Ability to make low and high voltage repairs.
- Experience in PLC maintenance, welding, HVAC, and electrical diagnostics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Twenty-four months experience in at least three areas: Electrical, Structural, HVAC, Mechanical.
- Ability to climb ladders and walk for extended periods.
- Moderate lifting required.
- High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Required.
- Valid, clean state drivers license.

Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Los Angeles, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $71802.00 - $71802.00/yr.
