Responsibilities
Align with applicable manufacturers, industry, regulatory standards, shop practices and procedures; diagnose, service, maintain and repair all automotive, motive equipment; perform all duties of lubrication on plant equipment; service and maintain all portable tools as required; and diagnose, service, maintain, and repair all hoists, doors, gates, docks, and minor shop equipment as needed. Determine parts and material requirements, and perform repairs as required to support timely production and delivery of quality products to the customer.
- Perform root cause analysis in support of reliability processes and collaborate with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, other crafts, and management to solve motive equipment problems and develop corrective action.
- Enter and retrieve data from the CMMS system and order parts required to accomplish the tasks.
- Coordinate with other organizations and specialties to provide reliability failure analysis and problem resolution for assets and systems.
Accountabilities:
- Subject Matter Expert to perform root cause analysis/maintenance/repairs/alterations to equipment in support of reliability processes. Collaborate with vendors, engineering, team leader, customer, other crafts, and management to solve portable tool, doors/gates/dock issues on new and old equipment.
- Enter and retrieve data from the CMMS system for work assignments and order parts as required to sustain needed Stock and Non–Stock items of repair parts.
- Plan the sequence of work and develop detailed job plans for Portable Tools / Precision Tools / Doors / Gates / Docks equipment technician employees.
- Train other employees in the same job classification.
- Use necessary mobile crane diagnostic, repair tools such as but not limited to, computer scanners, meters, load testers, pressure testers, precision tools, balancers, etc. to accomplish all equipment repairs.
- Transport tools from Tool Cribs and Shop Floor to perform Rapid Repairs, replacements or provide parts and support for all Production critical equipment.
- Manage Cutters: Storage, Replacement, Reconditioning, and surplus of drill bits, reamers, and counter sink cutters. Issue orders to Cutter Grind shop and suppliers for reconditioning cutters.
- Be knowledgeable of customer requirements for new setup of drilling processes and applications, issue requirements sheets to Organizations for portable tools in support of new programs.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years relevant experience
- Ability to work any shift and OT as needed
