JMC Aviation are currently recruiting Sheet Metal Workers for a base maintenance contract starting ASAP, for a long-term duration in Birmingham.       

Sheet Metal Worker - Birmingham 
Start/End: March 2026 - Ongoing 
Rate: 40.00 per hour 
Shift: Mon - Thurs nights 
Hours: 17:30-04:30
IR35: Outside 
Tools: Provided
Work type: Base Maintenance B737NG 
Additional Info: Successful applicants will need to obtain CRCs from countries previously worked in within the last 5 years as part of the security process. 
- On-site interview required if application is accepted, followed by a 4-hour trade test (unpaid) held in Manchester.
- LTD company insurance (1m public liability) required if accepted            

To be considered for this role, you must have the following:  

• Right to work in the UK            

• Previous base maintenance experience on Boeing aircraft           

• Availability to start ASAP       

• Valid safety certificates: HF, EWIS, FTS, SMS (including initials) 

• For IR35 purposes, based on role-based determinations, this role is Outside IR35.       

Unfortunately, candidates without the right to work in the UK will not be considered.
