Job Title: Turbo Prop A&P Mechanic
Job DescriptionThis role focuses on performing maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting on turbo prop aircraft and their engines. You will work hands-on on aircraft systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation in a corporate and government maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) facility.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and repair on turbo prop aircraft and engines in accordance with applicable regulations, procedures, and technical data.
- Remove and replace landing gear assemblies, ensuring proper installation, alignment, and functional checks.
- Remove and replace aircraft engines, including all associated connections, and perform post-installation inspections and tests.
- Conduct flight control rigging, including adjustment, alignment, and verification of proper operation of flight control systems.
- Operate, inspect, and troubleshoot pneumatic systems, ensuring proper function and resolving issues as they arise.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting on complex aircraft systems, identifying root causes and implementing effective corrective actions.
- Work directly on aircraft in hangars, following all safety procedures and maintenance best practices.
- Complete required documentation accurately and promptly to record maintenance and repair activities.
- Collaborate with other technicians and staff to ensure aircraft are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability.
Essential Skills- Active Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) license.
- Proven experience as an A&P Mechanic working on aircraft maintenance and repair.
- Hands-on experience performing maintenance and repair on turbo prop aircraft and engines.
- Demonstrated ability to remove and replace landing gear on aircraft.
- Demonstrated ability to remove and replace aircraft engines, including associated systems and components.
- Experience with flight control rigging, including adjustment and verification of control systems.
- Knowledge of pneumatic system operation and troubleshooting on aircraft.
- Advanced troubleshooting skills for complex aircraft systems and components.
- Ability to work directly on aircraft in a hangar environment while following strict procedures and safety standards.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Experience working in a corporate and government MRO facility.
- Familiarity with maintenance practices for business jets and government aircraft.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a professional appearance.
- Ability to work a schedule that includes weekdays and some weekends as required.

Work Environment
This position is based in a corporate and government MRO facility with multiple business jets and government aircraft in the hangar. Work is performed in non-climate-controlled hangars, so temperatures will vary with the seasons and daily conditions. The facility maintains a strict dress code: black shoes, black belt, blue work pants (Dickies style), and appropriate shirts provided by the facility; hats are provided if desired. Facial hair must be neatly trimmed to an approximate maximum of ¼ inch, and short, evenly trimmed sideburns are allowed. Technicians are expected to maintain a corporate appearance at all times while working on aircraft. The work schedule is Monday through Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with some Saturdays and Sundays required, reflecting the operational needs of the hangar.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $35.00 - $38.00/hr.
