What You Will Do:

As a Customer Account Manager, youll play a key role in building and nurturing relationships with our customers, always advocating for their best interests. Youll create trust by ensuring positive experiences during all engine shop events. In this role, youll work closely with the sales team to proactively identify and address opportunities related to engine events. Were looking for someone with excellent communication skills—both verbal and written—along with strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities. Youll need to be good at managing your time and priorities, and capable of working independently. Balancing our operational goals with meeting customer commitments and maintaining profitability is also crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage planned engine events prior to receipt

  • Manage customer hold process

  • Manage profitability of customer events

  • Fluent in English (verbal/written)

  • Coordinate customer visits

  • Analyze and approve cost estimates, invoices, and warranty application along with driving closure to invoice disputes

  • Perform as a liaison between the shop and the customer

  • Ensure export control and ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulations) compliance

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience in business-to-business sales, account management, customer service, or Afterspanet Aerospace industry experience; OR Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of relevant industry experience; OR Associate’s degree or Technical Training (A&P/AMT) and 7+ years of relevant industry experience; OR High School diploma and 9+ years of relevant industry experience

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Degree in STEM field; Engineering, Supply Chain or Business fields preferred.

  • Afterspanet Aviation experience ideally in spare parts or engine overhaul business.

  • Experience with Supplier, B2B Account Management, or managing large corporate accounts.

  • Experience with SAP (or other ERP systems), and data analysis tools such as PowerBI.

  • Microsoft Office and other productivity programs (i.e. Teams, Dynamics CRM, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel).

  • Ability to communicate and work across all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to build and maintain internal and external customer relationships.

  • Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles, commuting to and from the assigned site is the employee’s personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 82,000 USD - 164,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
