The Director of Sales is responsible for driving the success and efficiency of our organizations account management teams. This role involves developing and executing strategies to achieve revenue and cost-of-sale objectives while fostering a high-performance culture within the sales organization. This position requires a balance of strategic vision, operational execution, and strong relationship management skills to deliver strong results across an account portfolio.

• Shapes the vision for account management teams to capture high yield revenue opportunities while maintaining cost-efficient sales practices
• Leverages a deep understanding of corporate customer and agency partner needs to drive the growth of company products and programs, aligned with overall business objectives
• Works with account managers to evaluate the economics of discount programs and other sales initiatives to ensure profitability
• Serves as a key representative for the company at industry conferences and events with corporates and agencies to enhance relationships and visibility
• Supports the development of deals and contracts with corporates and/or agencies and collaborates closely with our Programs teams on negotiations to ensure favorable terms
• Works closely with our Sales Operations team on the recruitment, training, and professional development of sales teams
• Maintains an understanding of competitor initiatives, programs, and industry trends

Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in business-related discipline or equivalent experience/training
• 7 years airline or related sales experience
• 7 years management/leadership experience
• Knowledge of airline economics/revenue management theory
