- Have experience in ground operations management, ideally within an airline, passenger transport, or logistics environment
- Can speak French fluently, as communication with stakeholders (such as airports and authorities) is primarily conducted in French and Arabic.
- Enjoy leading teams, managing third-party suppliers, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced setting
- Are passionate about delivering outstanding operational performance and enhancing customer experience
THE TEAM
You will join our Ground Operations team, playing a key role in ensuring the smooth and safe running of our operations across Morocco. The team is passionate about delivering outstanding service and operational performance, working closely with both internal colleagues and external partners to keep our customers moving.
THE ROLE
As Ground Operations Manager – Marrakech, you will be responsible for delivering a safe, on time operation at our Marrakech base and across Moroccan airports. You will manage third-party suppliers, oversee ground handling contracts, and ensure cost control while driving performance and customer experience. You will also lead the implementation of new policies and procedures, represent easyJet at forums and meetings, and contribute to strategic planning for the future of our ground operations.
- Manage safety performance and risk for all suppliers at airport level
- Investigate safety events and lead preventative action plans
- Own and manage ground handling contracts, including budget accountability and supplier relationships
- Deliver on time performance against set targets
- Manage all revenue activities within your remit
- Act as the principal point of contact for easyJet Ground Operations at nominated airports
- Oversee KPIs, projects, communications, and improvement plans
- Drive improvements in customer experience at airports
- Follow liquidated damages process and ensure seasonal readiness
- Lead cost saving initiatives and participate in terminal and airport projects
- Represent easyJet at meetings with airports and regulators
- Provide strategic input to the Ground Operations five-year plan
