Key Responsibilities:
- Employee Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with employees and union representatives, ensuring open communication and collaboration.
- Union Management: Lead negotiations, manage collective bargaining agreements, and address labor-related issues effectively while ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
- HR Strategy: Develop and implement HR strategies that align with GE Aerospace’s business objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, retention, and development.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to local labor laws, company policies, and industry standards.
- Performance Management: Oversee performance management processes, including goal setting, evaluations, and development plans.
- Training & Development: Identify training needs and implement programs to enhance employee skills and career growth.
- Workforce Planning: Collaborate with leadership to forecast workforce needs and develop staffing plans.
- Change Management: Support organizational change initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and effective communication.
- HR Metrics: Monitor and report on HR metrics to drive continuous improvement and support decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Extensive HR management experience, with a focus on unionised environments.
- Strong knowledge of Romanian labor laws and regulations.
- Proven experience in collective bargaining and union negotiations.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and influence stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in HR systems and tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Experience in the aerospace or manufacturing industry.
- Certification in HR (e.g., SHRM, CIPD).
