ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Manager of Strategy and Transformation within our Borders Business Unit, you will play a key role in shaping our business decisions and making a tangible impact. You will lead a wide range of projects and work streams, collaborating with team members and stakeholders across business units and operational functions. You may need to multi-task and prioritize to manage tight timelines. Your role extends beyond data analysis; you will establish facts, analyze implications, recommend the best course of action, and enable execution. You will be expected to deliver compelling presentations and communications to senior executives with some frequency. When required, you will also take hands-on responsibility for realizing outcomes.
WHAT WILL YOU DO
Leadership in Strategy & Transformation Projects
Lead work streams, develop robust fact bases, articulate insights, refine recommendations with key stakeholders, and communicate outcomes.
Drive initiatives forward, ensuring alignment with overarching business goals.
External Insights and Innovative Growth Ideas
Identify and utilize internal and external information sources to uncover new business, industry, and spanet insights.
Conduct both quantitative and qualitative analyses to address strategic challenges and opportunities comprehensively.
Be a source of external insights and innovative growth ideas for SITA at Borders.
Foster strong relationships and collaboration with business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and quality control of results.
Leverage insights from stakeholders to drive strategic decision-making and business growth.
Qualifications
Core Competencies
- Exceptional analytical skills and numerical fluency, capable of dissecting complex data and deriving actionable insights to drive strategic decision-making.
- Forward-thinking strategist with excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer-centric with a focus on delivering results and the ability to manage through influence.
Required Qualifications
- University degree in Business Administration, Management, Sciences, or a relevant field.
- Demonstrated track record in management consulting in a top-tier Strategy Consulting firm with experience as an Associate, Consultant, or similar roles in Investment Banking or Product at a large technology company
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in the delivery of strategy, innovation, and implementation projects in complex environments.
- Exceptional project management skills: adept at planning and managing multi-stakeholder initiatives.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas and insights clearly and persuasively to stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management.
- Ability to deal with high levels of ambiguity and pivot quickly.
- Experience in structuring strategic initiatives and building robust business proposals.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written.
- Technology and/or aviation industry experience preferred.
