Warehousing & Logistics Manager

Job Description:

The Warehousing & Logistics Manager ensures availability, compliance and movement of aircraft parts and tooling to support uninterrupted maintenance operations, leading warehousing, logistics, customs and dangerous goods activities within an aviation environment.

Tasks

Manage the end-to-end logistics lifecycle for aircraft parts and tooling
Lead warehouse and inventory operations across multiple storage locations
Ensure stock accuracy, traceability and operational readiness
Oversee global freight flows, including time-critical AOG shipments
Manage logistics providers, contracts and transport performance
Ensure compliance with customs, export control and dangerous goods regulations
Maintain audit-ready documentation and liaise with authorities
Lead regulatory audits (EASA/FAA/IATA) and continuous improvement initiatives
Manage and develop a team of approximately 20 FTE
Ensure AOG support outside office hours

Requirements

Bachelor in Industrial or Civil Engineering and/or Business Administration, or equivalent experience
Minimum 5 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain, ideally within aviation maintenance
Proven leadership experience in an operational environment
Strong knowledge of logistics, airworthiness and regulatory compliance
Experience with Dangerous Goods and customs regulations
Understanding of cost accounting and financial impact
Strong analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Fluent in English; Dutch and/or French is a plus
AMOS or ERP system knowledge
Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with high ownership and integrity
