Do you have strong mechanical skills and experience operating machining equipment? Colibrium Additive, part of GE Aerospace, is looking for an Associate Testing professional to join our team in Gothenburg, Sweden. This is your chance to play a key role in supporting prototype development and testing in a dynamic and collaborative environment.Imagine working in the Additive Test Center, organizing daily operations with Electron Beam Melting (EBM) prototypes, and performing machining tasks. You’ll be responsible for operating prototype machines, identifying and reporting machine issues, and ensuring smooth workflows for internal projects. Your mechanical expertise and organizational skills will be essential to the success of the team.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Organize and perform daily work with all EBM prototypes in the Arcam Test Center (Lab).
  • Operate EBM prototype machines for Colibrium Additive and perform machining tasks in the workshop, including drilling, turning, and milling.
  • Identify and inform the responsible person about machine issues related to tests and projects.
  • Conduct tests and write detailed reports.
  • Apply your very good mechanical skills to ensure the proper functioning of machines and equipment.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • A background as a technician or equivalent technical education is essential.
  • Very good mechanical skills are a requirement for this role.
  • Hands-on experience in a machining workshop, including drilling, turning, and milling.
  • Familiarity with Electron Beam Melting (EBM) technology.
  • A forklift license.
  • Strong technical knowledge and judgment to resolve issues within established procedures.
  • Very good English communication skills are required.
