The individual will work with Principal Investigators to enable human subjects studies and act as first point of contact and coordinator of volunteer recruitment, enrollment and participation. Additionally, the individual will coordinate with the Institutional Review Board (IRB) and medical staff as needed to ensure safe execution of human subjects research.WHAT YOU WILL DO
The successful individual in this role will be able to multi-task, including organizing and supporting execution of multiple human research studies that are being executed in parallel. To achieve this, the individual will perform the following duties: support the design of human subjects studies, support submissions to the Institutional Review Board (IRB) to obtain study protocol/design, enroll study participants, ensure eligibility criteria are met; obtain and review required documents; provide instruction and answer volunteer/command queries; monitor volunteer participation and requirement completion, and support the technical team in executing the study. The successful candidate will also prepare memos, reports, documents, and correspondence required to properly document project activities.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL BRING
BS in a biological field, preferably medically oriented.
Proficiency in Adobe Pro, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, CHCS and AHLTA data systems.
The individual should have at least 3 years of experience working with researchers, clinicians, and/or medical personnel.
Experience with executing clinical research studies. Experience writing protocols is preferred.
Experience working with the institutional review board (IRB) is preferred.
Medical certification (CPR, Paramedic, First Responder) is preferred.
