Role title
HR Data Coordinator
Your role
The People Data Coordinator will play a role in supporting the HR team during our People Transformation journey. This role would suit someone with some HR experience who wants to transition into the exciting world of HR/people analytics. This position is responsible for HR reporting and ensuring data integrity and accuracy. The role will also be a point of contact for the Aer Lingus Tech team, in translating our data requirements. This role needs someone who is curious about data and willing to investigate issues and processes which affect our data accuracy. They will support data migration and designing our future analytics products through the implementation of our new HRIS (HR Information System). The ideal candidate will be analytical, have a strong attention to detail, and a curiosity to learn about our HR data and people analytics.
This role offers a solid foundation for a career in Human Resources, particularly in HR analytics, HRIS administration, and data management. The People Data Coordinator will gain valuable experience and exposure to a large-scale HR transformation, positioning them for success for future opportunities within a HR function.
Reporting:
- Liaise with wider HR team and business leaders to understand reporting and analytics requirements.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports using existing HR data.
- Support People Analytics Specialist with data analysis to provide insights for decision-making.
- Interest in continuing development in analytics, developing knowledge of data analysis tools (Power BI or Tableau).
Data Cleansing:
- Review, clean, and maintain HR data to ensure accuracy and consistency, identifying and rectifying discrepancies and errors in employee data.
- Keeping action logs of data quality issues experienced within the People team, and responsibility for addressing actions.
- Understanding the source of the data quality issues and fixing the broken process, not just the data.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated on HR data management trends and best practices.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation and efficiency.
- Support the HR team in various projects and initiatives as needed.
- Provide first level support to the People Analytics team related to data, analysis, process improvement activities.
Technology:
- Responsible for ensuring our HRIS tools are leveraged efficiently for People Analytics and data integrity.
- Act as conduit between People Analytics and our Technology team to support automation of data flows, data warehousing and dashboarding projects.
- Learn and explore absence data through both of our time management systems, becoming a back-up for absence reporting.
Your qualifications and key criteria
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Data Analytics, Business or equivalent work experience.
- 1-2 years previous experience or internships in HR/Data (or another business area).
- Some experience in Reporting, Data Analytics, along with proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools (from college or work experience).
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Comfortable executing recurring day to day tasks.
- Curiosity to identify, analyse and resolve problems.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
- Eligible to live and work in the EU.
- Hold a current unrestricted worldwide passport.
- Able to pass an aviation security vetting process, that includes an enhanced background check* or be in possession of a current airside pass for the airport as this position is based in Dublin.
