Job Title: Shop Helper

Pay: $23/hr

Job Description

We are seeking individuals with a strong mechanical aptitude to join our team as Shop Helpers. You will be responsible for assembling support equipment for rocket construction. This role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to build various structures, including racks and frames, essential for our operations.

Responsibilities

• Perform all necessary duties around the facility, including moving materials and parts.
• Assemble Ground Support Equipment (GSE) for rockets, including tubing, cradles, and framing.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to ensure precise assembly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols.

Essential Skills

• Mechanical aptitude and experience in building various items.
• Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to track parts and perform light assembly tasks.

Work Environment

You will work on the manufacturing floor, supporting facility operations in a fast-paced environment where prototypes are built without many blueprints. Adaptability and initiative are key, as the environment is ever-changing and requires quick thinking and problem-solving.

This is a Contract position based out of Middle River, MD.

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
