Job Spec:

As a Full Stack Software Developer, you will be a core member of our Development team and will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust and modular solutions to improve our product. As a smaller team, we value the creative contribution of all team members, so are looking for someone with the willingness and skills to be heavily involved in the design process.

Responsibilities

Design and develop user-friendly, responsive, and interactive front-end interfaces.
Implement secure, scalable, and efficient back-end systems and APIs.
Write clean, modular, and maintainable code while adhering to coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
Troubleshoot and debug complex technical issues across the full stack and provide timely resolutions and solutions.
Liaise with the Product and Testing team throughout the development process and remain adaptable for useful changes.
Stay updated with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in full stack development, and propose innovative solutions to enhance our products and processes.

Required Experience

Minimum of 3 years of commercial experience as a Full Stack Software Developer or similar role, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions.
At least 1 year of recent commercial experience using both TypeScript and .NET (C).
Proficiency in front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, Typescript) and front-end frameworks/libraries such as Angular, React, Vue.js – Angular preferred.
Strong experience with back-end development using .NET (C) and related frameworks.
Solid understanding of database systems (e.g. SQL Server, Redis)
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and Agile practices

Desirable Experience

Specific experience in databases including design, optimization, and query performance.
Familiarity with DevOps practises such as CI/CD pipelines and automated testing.
Experience working with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure (preferred), Amazon Web Services (AWS), or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
